BARMM, 13 July 2019 – The Mufti of the Bangsamoro talks on public service in Islamic perspective before the participants of LGOO’s Retooling at Em Manor Hotel, Cotabato City.

“Public service must be devoid of fraudulent acts especially graft and corruption,” The Mufti told.

During the time of caliphate Abubakar, he used to use two sets of candle – one set for his people funded by the collection of zakat (equivalent to taxes collection) and one set for his family using his personal money.

Meaning, government vehicle must NOT use for personal or family affairs!
